Inspection Process
Once a booking request has been processed both parties will have access to the “Booking Details” and “Inspection Center”. This page is open communication for both the owner and the renter to review the details of the booking. “Inspection Center” is where all pre-and post-rental photos should be uploaded. We require these photos to be uploaded by both parties before and after use. These measures are for the satisfaction of both parties and to promote clear communication to avoid any misunderstandings and future disputes.
Where to find the Inspection Center?
Inspection Center is found to the right of the “Booking Details” tab, once a booking has been approved.
- Click the tab to be brought to the Inspection Center (indicated in the image below)
What should be uploaded to the Inspection Center?
Hour Meter - Before and after use from both Owner and Renter. Note: Hours before use must be posted by the owner and confirmed by the renter. Owner(s) - this must be done to pursue over hour charges. Renter(s) - this must be done to avoid additional charges.
Fuel Gauge - Before and after use from both Owner and Renter. note: Fuel before use must be posted by the owner and confirmed by the renter. Owner(s) - this must be done to pursue fuel charges. Renter(s) - this must be done to avoid additional charges.
General Photos – We ask that both parties do a walk around and take photos of the machine before and after use. Both parties should upload photos of any pre-existing damage prior to the start of the rental to avoid future disputes. If a Renter finds damage on an initial inspection and fails to report it, the Owner, Eqpme, any third-party administrators, may assume that the damage occurred during the rental period. If, after the initial inspection, the Renter believes that the equipment is not safe to operate, please do not use the piece(s) of equipment; immediately contact the Owner directly and the Eqpme team at info@eqpme.com.
